Power of His Resurrection

Recurrent Thought

The Power of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is not only foundational to the expression of God’s love to humanity, but it is also the power that transforms whoever believes into becoming a child of God

The Resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of the Faith in Yahweh. If he never rose from the dead, then we should be of all people most pitied. The Resurrection is a cornerstone of the authenticity and genuineness of the Messiah. Practically, the Resurrection of the Christ is significant for it allows us to access the same power to work in our lives as believers

The New Testament Church as shown in the Acts of the apostles, it manifests the Apostles Teachings that stands on the Finished Work of Jesus that includes His resurrection, ascension and coming back. The Power of His Resurrection was exerted by God himself. The Power of His Resurrection was exerted by God Himself; it is the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the power of His Great Mighty. This Power of God is immeasurable but it is perfectly in check by His most Holy and Wise Counsel. Only God himself has the capacity to balance His Power.

We deal with the Four Impacts of the Power of His Resurrection

  1. The Power of His Resurrection is the source of the Light for Regeneration (Acts 26:23; Titus 3:6)
    • Every human being without Jesus is dead and remain in their trespasses, unless a greater power raises them from it.
    • The Power of the Holy Spirit gives new life. It is the Spirit that reawakens us and we become alive to God
    • The Same Power of Resurrection is the one that raises us from our lives of trespasses. (Eph.2:1-7);
  2. The Power of His Resurrection is the source of the Transformation of human life.
    • I was a Pharisee who went to persecute the members of the Church and I encountered Jesus the resurrected One, and I was totally transformed
    • Paul introduces a double truth: The Pharisees believed in the resurrection and he asks the Rhetorical Question: Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead? Act 26:8
    • Within the same thought He shows that he wo pursued the Church was totally, changed. Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead? Act 26:8
    • Continued transformation is relying on the Power of His Resurrection (Rom. 8:11-12)
    • If we are going to be ever growing in Faith, we must be ever believing in the Power of His Resurrection
    • Jesus rose from the Dead by the Power of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 15: 14-20)
  3. The Power of His Resurrection gives me confidence to Model a Transformed Life
    • The transformed life makes us to be an example for others to find Jesus
    • The transformed life makes us to be genuine pointers to where Jesus is found
    • We can freely state to anyone that “We are glad for them to become such as I am"
    • We speak clearly, we speak rationally, but our lives are the evidence of the Power of His Resurrection
    • If we can’t have confidence in what he has wrought in us, how can we persuade others to follow him?
  4. The Power of His Resurrection always works towards those that believe (Eph. 1:19
    • There is always Power working towards human beings some for good and some for evil. The Power working towards the believer is the good power of His Resurrection;
    • When You allow Him, His Power will be at work in your life. The Power of His Resurrection is available for all Good Works
    • We must appreciate the Holy Spirit who is the custodian of this Power of Resurrection
