Praying for those responding to the emergency
- Pray for health workers
- Pray that God will give them the strength and grace to work in the overwhelming environments.
- Pray that God will open doors for our health system to have equipment to help victims.
- Pray for protection against illnesses as they attend to the victims
- Pray for volunteers and Malawians who are mobilizing resources to help, Pray for Donor agencies and non-governmental organizations, pray for the Government, Pray for other countries
- Pray for wisdom and energy for local, national and international leaders as they respond to this crisis. Pray that money donated will be used wisely.
- Pray that God open doors for more resources to those affected.
- Ask God to free up resources to enable them to quickly help those in need and to provide long-term solutions to survivors, especially those who have been made homeless.
- Lift up all responding agencies as places become inaccessible, pray we’ll be able to reach everyone in need.

- Pray that donations will reach the intended beneficiaries- pray against theft, mis-use and wastage. Pray against any corruption during the sharing of the donations
- Pray for the protection of Malawi against more floods and cyclones.
