Worship and Thanksgiving
“I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You. I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul."
Psalms 138:1-3 NKJV
- Thank God for his loving kindness towards us. Worship him for his truth about us is eternal
- Worship him by declaring the good things he has done for you (personally, in your family, in our church and in our nation and in this world)
- Worship the God who makes our souls strong and bold in the seasons of life.
- Worship the God who is always pursuing us even when we are drained, frustrated and burnt out. His help is ever present even when we don’t anticipate it nor feel his presence.
- We have to anticipate for his help even when we don’t feel he is present.
- Thank the Lord for the powerful Sunday service. (Thank the Lord for using our pastor so mightily to preach with boldness and power). Thank God for all who took part in the service, convener, praise team and the protocol team. Thank God for everyone who came to the service and those who gave their lives to Jesus during the service.
