1 Timothy 3:1 (ESV) - The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.

• Thank God for the noble task that Rev. Seira Mitha serves.
• Pray to God to sustain, guide and preserve her as she serves in this office.
• Pray to God that her life and servicing will bring more souls to Christ through sharing of the gospel and inspire the church.

1 Peter 5:2, 4 (KJV) -Feed the flock of God which is among you….And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

• Pray that the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ, will guide Rev. Seira Mitha’s heart as she shepherd’s God’s flock.
• Pray that God will protect her from discouragement as she feeds the flock.

• Pray that God will continue to strengthen her until she receives her crown of glory in Jesus’s name.
• Pray that God will go before her as she travels to South Africa for medical checkup and provide for all her needs.

Praying for Children’s Church

 
2 Peter 3:18 (ESV) - But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Psalm 121:7 (ESV) - The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.

1. Pray, as we lift every child in the church, that their hearts will be fertile soil where God’s Word will flourish even at their tender age.
2. Pray that God will fill the children with understanding as they learn His Word that will help them grow in their faith and love for the things of God.
3. Pray that God’s mighty hand of protection will be upon the children, shielding them from every form of harm—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
4. Pray that our Heavenly Father will build a hedge of divine protection around them and cover them with the blood of Jesus as they go to school, play, and participate in church activities. May they be delivered from accidents, sickness, evil schemes, and the traps of the evil one.
5. Declare that the children are covered, preserved, and protected by God in Jesus’ name.

Prayers for Malawi Assemblies of God (prayer for unity in the church)

1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV) - Therefore encourage one another and build one another up.

• Pray to the Father that He gives us hearts that are quick to encourage and build one another up. Let our words and actions be a source of strength and encouragement to our brothers and sisters in Christ as we continue to grow together in faith.
• Pray that we will gain skills that enable us to unite Malawi Assemblies of God.
