PRAYING FOR MALAWI AND AFRICA PEOPLE GROUPS
Praying for Malawi
1. Pray for the Nation of Malawi during this economic crisis characterised by rising cost of living, corruption and general national instability affecting many families and institutions. Pray that we will rise from the deep and recover to prosperity in Jesus Name. We are a Nation at His heart!
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
2. Pray for God’s provision, healing and restoration amid food insecurity, healthcare challenges, unemployment and poverty. Pray that the Lord will be our good shepherd and none in the Nation shall want.
Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
3. Pray for wisdom, justice, peace and righteous leadership as the Nation faces governance, environmental and social challenges. Pray that nothing evil shall replace the will of God for the development of our Country. Pray against any form of political and tribal hatred or divisions rather prophesy unity and love across the nation.
Proverbs 29:2 (KJV) “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”
4. Our youth and professionals are being duped into immoral characters due to planned foreign influences in lieu of financial and promotional favours. Pray against foreign spirits and influences devaluing our national values, professionalism and Godly principles. Pray that our professionals, the nation at large and the youth in particular shall not succumb to such influences as they are the future of the Nation.
1 John 2:14 (KJV) “I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.”
1 Timothy 4:12 (KJV) “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
Praying for the people groups of Guinea-Bissau (Africa, West & Central)

1. Pray for revival and salvation among the unreached people groups in Guinea-Bissau like the Biafada, Balanta- Mane and Bambara who have 0%, 0.3% and 0.9% Christians in their populations respectively.
Matthew 24:14 (KJV) “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
2. Pray for the Church to obey the Great Commission and reach the lost with courage and boldness
Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV)“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
3. Pray that many people will come to Jesus Christ, the only way of salvation and be saved.
John 14:6 (KJV) “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
4. Pray that God will raise and send more workers into the harvest field among the people groups.
Luke 10:2 (KJV) “Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”
5. Pray for strong discipleship, spiritual growth and obedience among new believers
John 14:15 (KJV) “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
