Praying for Malawi

1. Prayer for Malawi’s wise, righteous, and God-fearing leadership: Pray that the Lord our God will give Malawi’s leaders (the President & Government, religious, traditional and all those in authority as leaders) a heart to fear Him. Pray that they will be granted wisdom, integrity, and righteousness in all governance decisions for the prosperity and development of the Nation.

2. Prayer for economic stability and national provision: Pray that God our father will intervene and stabilize Malawi’s economy and provide for the nation’s needs as the citizens experience perpetual economic imbalance and struggle with escalating prices of goods and high cost of living. Pray for the vulnerable population that God will be their God of supplies.

3. Prayer for the protection of agricultural yields, food security, recovery from flood effects and national protection from climate shocks: As the nation is predominantly reliant on agriculture, Malawi’s economy is at risk in moments of climate change effects. Some parts of Malawi are still experiencing heavy rains threatening the level of yields that can be harvested. Pray that Lord, will bless Malawi’s agriculture production this year and protect the nation from possible droughts food insecurity. Pray that God will help Malawi to recover from the flood effects experienced in the year.

4. Prayer for strengthened Malawi’s health, education, and judicial systems: We see failure of national progress due to corruption and injustices. When government and man fails, pray that God will restore Malawi’s health system, strengthen education, and establish justice across the nation so that citizens may experience exponential growth and development due to improved and high quality services.

5. Prayer for Malawi’s peace, unity, and spiritual revival & awakening: There are tensions and divisions in political spheres resulting in trickled tensions, systemic hatred, divisions and segregation in the society and Nation as a whole thereby threating our peace, retarding national growth and development. Pray that the Lord God Almighty, the God of Israel, will be the God of the Nation and that He brings peace, unity, protection, and spiritual revival across Malawi. Pray that Malawi will experience a Mighty spiritual awakening and that the Nation will be restored to God.

Praying for the people groups of Congo Republic (Africa, West & Central)

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

1. Pray that the Lord will revive His Church, cleanse His people, and pour out His Spirit upon all nations and upon the people of Congo Republic specifically with conviction and renewal.

2. Pray that God will confirm His Word with miracles, healing, deliverance, and add multitudes to His Congo Republic Church.

3. Pray that God will send more labourers into His harvest (Congo Republic) and establish strong discipleship in every new believer.

4. Pray that God will being bring salvation to all Congo Republic people groups, including the unreached, especially the Hausa who are predominantly Muslims (0% Christian) and draw them to Jesus Christ through the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
