Praying for Pastor Jerry Zimba

Psalm 23:1-3

1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2     He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3     he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

1. Thank God for Pastor Jerry and Mama Annie Zimba; for their zeal, loyalty and commitment to ministry at ICA. Pray that God will remember them for this.
2. Pray that the Lord their Shepherd will supply all their needs so that they lack nothing, in every aspect of their lives. They will have food on the table, they will be clothed, they will have fuel, meet their children’s needs, be able to invest into the future.
3. Pray that God will refresh their souls so that they will always be available for ministry and that they will stay relevant.
4. Pray that God will guide them in paths of righteousness so that they will always do what God wants them to do, and do it well.
5. Pray that their children will grow in the fear of the Lord and understand the mission of God at an early age.

Praying for ICA Missions

Matthew 28:18-20

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

1. Cells is our major mission strategy. Pray that God will help every ICA member understand this for us to be relevant in this church. Pray that there will be clarity as this vision is shared at all levels.   
2. Pray that the goals we have set, as zones will make a lot of sense to every member in the zones and that there will be excitement to participate in their fulfilment. Pray that every member will be conscious of the authority we have in every mission field.
3. Pray that all the churches that we planted will understand the mission of God to go make disciples of all nations. Pray that those that obey will experience abundance.
4. Pray for all the Church planting missions planned for 2026. Pray that we will have all the required resources and that God will direct us to hearts that are ready for the gospel.
5. Pray for upcoming Take Lead and Urban Missions Conferences. Pray that the Spirit of excellence will be evident in all the stages from planning to implementation.
