Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Romans 12:2 MSG

Through various news and social media platforms, we can see that there is a spread of immorality and demonic movements that are trying to lure people across the world and lead them to destruction. Our mission as the people of God is to rise and pray against these movements as we continue telling others about Jesus Christ.

1. ICA is a church with a heart for missions. Pray that every member of ICA will take up the missional intercessory role to pray against any movements across the world that are immoral or demonic.

2. Pray against the LGBTQ+ movement that is going against God’s divine order for marriage and for individuals. Pray that, as Christians, we will be able to stand for the truth in all our spheres of influence and handle these issues with godly wisdom.

3. Nowadays, sex outside marriage is being portrayed as a normal thing. Pray against the global attack on God’s divine order of marriage and purity of the marriage bed. Pray that people will once again begin to see marriage as a sacred, life-long commitment.

4. More than ever before, young people across that world are battling different bondages including drug addictions, sexual immorality and alcohol abuse. Pray against the enemy’s attack on young people that is influencing them into immorality. Pray instead that there will be a move of God specifically among young people that will translate them from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God.

5. Sometimes, instead of being the light, many Christians are falling into the trap of conforming or adjusting to the cultures around them. Pray that we will remember the mission that Jesus Christ has given us, and that, wherever we are, we will be true examples of godliness and integrity.
